Agreement

By using ediblelandscapes.nz (“this site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you cannot contract out of as a consumer.

What this site is

Edible Landscapes is a seasonal publication about edible landscapes, growing, and kai / food resilience in Aotearoa. Content is organised in season editions (spring, summer, autumn, winter), each with thirteen weekly pieces. The site also links to related charity and regional kai resources in the Vector Group network.

This site is not a paid software storefront, certification authority, emergency service, or regulated agronomic advice service.

Charitable purpose

Vector Group Charitable Trust is a New Zealand registered charity. Content on this site supports public education and community resilience. Nothing here is personalised professional advice for your land, crops, livestock, or business.

Content and accuracy

We aim for careful, practical writing grounded in New Zealand conditions. Growing rules, biosecurity requirements, and best practice change. Always check local guidance — including council, MPI, and sector bodies — before planting, spraying, importing plant material, or changing farm systems. We are not liable for decisions you make based on general edition pieces.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, text, branding, edition structure, and original photography on this site are owned by or licensed to Vector Group Charitable Trust. You may:

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Vector Group Charitable Trust and Te Puke Digital are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act or other non-excludable law.
